Continuing to build off the energy from the piece that kicked off the season, this music video pushed the boundaries of the visual style and effects used in “Panther Like a Panther,” both serving as the foundation for a visual identity that would last multiple seasons.

Miami Dolphins x Run the Jewels | Panther Like a panther

Run the Jewels has long been a musical duo who repeatedly make up many of my “recently listened to” playlists. When the opportunity arose to work with their label to meld our brands, I was given a unique opportunity not only to partake, but to be given free-reign over its look. Inspired by the hypnotic rhythms and motion that flowed from the music itself, we wanted to craft a piece that felt like it organically grew from the sound it was coupled with. Together with its sister video, “Legend Has It,” they would serve as the cornerstone for a visual identity for multiple seasons to come.

A quick, social hit made to drum up hype for an upcoming game. Cut to fast-paced music, this piece utilizes erratic time remapping and custom overlays and text to enhance the motion of each frame.
