InBloom Branding
InBloom | Branding
From ‘behavior development group’ to ‘inbloom autism services’
Changing a logo and the name of a company is, of course, something that shouldn’t be done lightly. There is, of course, a risk of losing some brand equity. If it’s not done because there’s a fundamental shift in the brand’s mission or “northstar,” then there’s little point in doing so. When Behavior Development Group decided to transition to InBloom Autism Services, it was done with the intentions of making ourselves known for high-quality care and clinical integrity not just in South Florida, but across the country. We shifted from what some may call “old-school” advertising, and lasered in on strategic, social-first marketing that would become heavily integrated into our Intake, Recruiting, and Business Development teams. Another major change is that we recognized the need to create content, not just to get eyes on our website, but because we recognized a need for thoughtful, ABA-based content to help make an impact in our parents’ and kiddos’ lives. Below are some examples of how we began to make this new journey into InBloom.
SPREADING SEEDS | BLOG
With so many sharp minds amongst our clinical team, it was only natural that we utilized their voices to speak directly to parents on topics that mattered to them most. As editor and designer, it’s been a privilege to work closely with our clinicians to bring out the best in their writing, and to design unique header images for each blog topic. Each of the compositions display scenes that illustrate topics or scenarios featured in each of the posts, usually to exaggerated or comical proportions, all through the aforementioned animal characters.
Indevelopment | podcast
It was determined fairly early on during our transition to InBloom that a podcast would be necessary if we were serious about our cornerstones of being a source of education to parents and budding professionals alike. InDevelopment, as it is called, is a monthly, discussion-based podcast accompanied by monthly “training pods” geared towards clinicians. Topics range from the intricacies of automatic behaviors, to tips and tactics for getting your kiddo ready for the upcoming school year. Artwork for the podcast is of a minimal design, inspired by construction paper and the puzzle-piece iconography commonly associated with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
DESIGNING OUR CENTERS
InBloom has prided itself on not just being a wellspring of knowledge and resources, but also a fun place to be for the kiddos! To that end, we decided a major overhaul was needed at our centers. Gone are the barren walls and in came the paint, and some clean, thoughtful details that weren’t too overpowering for our kiddos. With this came the overhaul to our photography, making regular visits to our centers to capture events and regular day-to-day activities. Through a more aggressive, emotional-based marketing strategy (among many other factors), we began to grow from three centers to sixteen within a year.
